The original edition of AMoment’s Spleen was conceived and fully constructed within one hour, where a timer was set. The objective of the prompt was to create a finished copy of a zine from scratch with old, separately archived images- now newly introduced and structured. Initially it served as a relaxed sequencing exercise of image filtration, recycling, and repurposing. A personal effort to work automatically, and a withdrawal from blockage that comes as a result of projecting finalization. The outcome is a physical response to the habit of clinical approaches in the creation of zines and photobooks.
